RBE-90 topload box erector

Racupack have developed a very sturdy, stainless erector for top load cartons/boxes, the RBE-90.

Normally the machine is executed to form boxes using locking tabs, without glue. However, the machine can also be executed to form boxes using a hot-melt glue system. In both cases a flat blank is taken from the carton magazine using vacuum suction cups and positioned over the forming box.

A forming die then pushes the blank through the forming box. During this phase the walls of the carton are folded up and locked or glued.

All of the primary movements are from one central frequency controlled motor, this is driving both the carton pick-off arm and the forming dies. The design

of the machine has been well thought out and allows quick and easy size change over, using simple change parts.

The machine incorporates a control panel with text display and simple fault diagnosis, as standard. Racupack also manufacture a single head version of
